The Second Human-Kizankai War (Stadtverisch: Zweiter Menschliche-Kizankaische Krieg), also known as the War of Vengeance (Rachekrieg) was the first major war waged by the newly-formed Menschlicher Sternenstaat against its historical nemesis, the Kizankai Shimanate. Functioning as a war of reprisal for defeat in the First Human-Kizankai War, it defined the various elements of modern Staat military doctrine in addition to the nation's reputation as a xenophobic polity, with the deaths of tens of millions of Kizankai soldiers during the war from Staat martial efficacy and hundreds of millions of civilians from the subsequent Kizankai xenocide. Although the Shimanate currently survives as a Staatsherrschaft of the Sternenstaat, the war's brutality and conduct has been used for centuries as propaganda for the strength of humanity and its war machine.
The conflict broke out due to the enactment of Operation Raumgebunden on the 3rd of January, 20 SA.
